Welcome to Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort.  We are a full-service pet boarding facility located in the White Mountains of Arizona, serving the Show Low, Pinetop, Lakeside, Springerville, Snowflake-Taylor, and Overgaard areas.

Offering exceptional care for your pets while you're away, we have been in business for over 15 years. Our kennels are designed with your dog or cat in mind.  We have installed state-of-the-art HD video surveillance cameras, or "PET CAMS", for 24-hour, worldwide access to view your pet in real-time.  We are setting the standards for what all boarding kennels should be and should offer.  We are proud to say we have been the number one recommended pet boarding facility by all veterinarians in the surrounding area. 

If you're anything like us, you have an incredible attachment to your pets and consider them a family member.  At Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort, we pride ourselves in treating your pet like part of our family by providing them with a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe stay at our heated and cooled boarding kennels.  We proudly offer the largest and most secure indoor/outdoor kennels in the area, have a staff member on-site 24 hours per day, and are open 7 days a week. 

Your pet's safety is always at the top of our minds. All kennels are sanitized each morning, and all pets receive clean bedding daily. Dr. Despain of Cedar Ridge Pet Clinic in Snowflake is on-call at all hours should a medical issue arise. Our kennels are heated and cooled with large, secure exercise and play areas that are available for your pet while they are on vacation at Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort. We do not allow co-mingling of pets from different households. Our kennel manager can administer any of your pet's medications as necessary. All boarders must be up-to-date on vaccinations. *certain vaccines may be administered here upon request for boarders only.
